| Johann Stirnimann-Stalder was the guild master of the Society for Safran or Fritschivater in 1882. So he must have been a very wealthy man known and respected in public. His great concern was a lung disease, against which the medical arts of the time werealmost powerless. Johann Stirnimann died after seeking a cure in Schwarzenberg in vain |
