He studied at St. Minred to be a monk. He was there for three years and left because he dove off a diving board an broke the sack around his heart. They sent him home to heal where he met his wife and didn't want to return. He recieved an award for his work during WWII from the United States of America National War Labor Board (1942 - 1945). He was a member of the UAW-CIO Leadership Institute. He also worked for Ed Morris Assoc. In 1977 he retired and moved to Stephenville, TX.
